About Me

I’m a web developer, homebrewer, and super-nerd in Seattle. I love rain, tattoos, craft beer, highfaluting coffee, and your dog. I studied graphic design before getting into development, so while I have experience up and down the development stack, my sweet spot is on the front end, working closely with designers to build out systems and bring their visions to life.

I currently work for Turnstyle, volunteer for Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue, and chase around my internet celebrity cat, Brimley. I take pride in my work, and am always keeping myself busy with one project or another.

My Work

Most of the code I write professionally is private / under NDA, but here are a few samples of fun projects you can check out.

  • Craft CMS
  • GSAP

Teague's website is a project I developed for Turnstyle, utilizing custom advanced animation sequencing through GSAP, as well as modern JavaScript page transitions built on top of BarbaJS.

This site is powered by Craft CMS, and utilizes modern tooling such as Webpack, with CI/CD to AWS servers through Forge.

Bloodworks Ventures

  • Craft CMS
  • Tailwind

The website for Bloodworks Ventures is a project I developed for Turnstyle, bringing a smaller site to life through subtle animations and speedy page transtions.

This site is powered by Craft CMS, and utilizes a wide variety of modern front end tooling including Webpack, ES6, BarbaJS, and Tailwind.

  • Contentful
  • Handlebars

tapdat is a digital tap list app, built to be displayed above a home or office kegerator. It currently supports coffee, cider, and beer.

I worked side-by-side with visual designers, originally from a Sketch file, then iterating in-browser. Using Contentful, the CMS is decoupled as an API, allowing the app to be extremely lightweight on the front end.

Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue

  • PHP
  • WordPress

SPHR is a volunteer-run rescue organization that I joined after adopting Brimley. The first order of business was updating their decade-old WordPress site.

I spent time working with their hosting provider to update their server, and put together a new custom WordPress theme for them to use. The site features a feed of adoptable pets, event calendar, and online adoption / volunteer applications.
